[Concall] LG Uplus, "Second Half ARPU to Improve with New Device Launches"
[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Eun-mo] Lee Sang-won, Head of the Consumer Business Innovation Group at LG Uplus, said during the 2021 Q2 earnings conference call held on the afternoon of the 6th, in response to a question about why the average revenue per user (ARPU) growth rate was not high, “The ARPU increase was somewhat insufficient due to the gap in new flagship devices, but the proportion of subscriptions to the ‘U+ Together’ bundled plan launched in the first half has been increasing, leading to a higher share of premium plans. Additionally, ARPU has been rising for three consecutive quarters compared to the same period last year.” He added, “With the planned release of flagship devices from Samsung and Apple in the second half, we expect ARPU to improve.”
