In the initial doubles match, our team fielded the Lee Sang-su?Jeong Young-sik pair but lost, failing to seize the early momentum. In the subsequent singles matches, Jang Woo-jin lost to Harimoto, but Jeong Young-sik turned the tide by decisively defeating Niwa in the next singles match. However, Jang Woo-jin was unable to overcome Mizutani Jun in the following singles match, resulting in the team finishing in a disappointing 4th place in the tournament.
