Hapcheon-gun Provides Non-Face-to-Face Rehabilitation Services
Distribution of Health Packages for Homebound Disabled Individuals
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Hapcheon County Public Health Center in Gyeongnam announced on the 4th that it will provide non-face-to-face rehabilitation services using "Health Packages" to minimize health gaps for home-based disabled individuals due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
This program is part of the community-based rehabilitation project and was prepared to help approximately 400 registered and managed home-based disabled individuals in the region have a healthy summer and improve their health management capabilities.
The Health Package consists of ▲ health management items (nutritional supplements, pain relief patches) ▲ heatwave prevention items (cool sleeves, water bottles) ▲ rehabilitation exercise educational materials ▲ quarantine masks for COVID-19 prevention, and will be delivered to the recipients' homes by September.
Additionally, the Hapcheon County Public Health Center plans to check on the well-being and health status of the recipients to comfort the weary minds of disabled individuals.
