GH to Build Top-Tier Post-Sale Apartment Complex with 1,227 Units in Hwaseong Dongtan
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) will build a post-sale private participation apartment complex with 1,227 households on the A94BL site in Hwaseong Dongtan 2 Housing Development District.
GH announced on the 4th that it will invest a total of 457.9 billion KRW to construct an apartment complex with 3 basement floors and 25 above-ground floors on the 82,000㎡ site. GH will supply this apartment using the post-sale method.
Unlike the pre-sale system, which requires waiting three years after sale, the post-sale system suppresses speculative demand by blocking resale of sales rights and strengthens consumer choice as buyers decide after seeing the completed housing. It also has advantages such as reducing potential disputes over construction quality afterward.
The apartment construction began on the 30th of last month, aiming for occupancy in the first half of 2024. The block is designed as a ground-level park complex with 100% underground parking. All nine household types with exclusive areas of 74㎡, 84㎡, 95㎡, and 115㎡ are arranged facing south and have a 4Bay structure.
In particular, a sky lounge, a communication space for residents, is provided on the top floor, allowing residents to enjoy ultra-high-rise city views and participate in community activities. Additionally, various amenities such as a kids station, indoor golf range, fitness center, reading room, and seasonal storage are available.

Lee Heon-wook, president of GH, emphasized, "We will contribute to housing stability for non-homeowners by constructing various high-quality public housing such as post-sale housing and GH basic housing. To build an attractive residential complex where anyone can live comfortably and long-term, we will continue to specialize community facilities in future GH basic housing projects."
