[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] On the 3rd, the Hapcheon County Council in Gyeongnam held the first regular briefing session of August to listen to the 'Major August County Administration Work Plans' and the report on the '(Tentative Name) Foundation for Hapcheon Education Development Committee Establishment Plan,' and discussed the direction of council operations.
The council members stated that in conducting surveys related to major county projects or organizing nationwide events, meticulous and thorough project implementation, including infrastructure management, is necessary to ensure practical effectiveness in revitalizing the local economy.
They also urged the executive branch to respond more actively to the announcement of the investigation committee's findings on the cause of flood damage downstream of the dam last August.
