[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] Shinhan Bank announced on the 3rd that it will conduct the 'Shinhan Bank Children's Online Bank Exploration,' an online fun financial experience education program for children during the summer vacation.
The Shinhan Bank Children's Online Bank Exploration is a financial education program that Shinhan Bank has been conducting since last year to provide online experiential education to children who have fewer opportunities for face-to-face education such as experiential learning and visit education due to COVID-19. It will be held for two weeks from the 2nd to the 14th, targeting preschoolers and lower-grade elementary school students.
The education consists of real-time non-face-to-face financial education with content tailored to children's perspectives on topics such as the flow of finance, money, and savings stories. It encourages children's interest through interactive learning with instructors and the Shinhan Bank character Sol, including experiential learning and OX quizzes.
In particular, this summer vacation program provides education on basic topics such as finance and economics, as well as concepts of investment and the importance of choice, which have recently gained interest, tailored to children's understanding.
