Gwangju Small Business Owners' 'Untact Patch'... Buk-gu Supports Online Market
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (District Mayor Moon In) announced on the 2nd that it will support small business owners struggling due to COVID-19 by helping them enter online sales channels.
Buk-gu signed business agreements with seven organizations and companies, including the Gwangju Jeonnam Small and Medium Business Administration and Jeonnam Producers' Cooperative, and finally selected 13 companies for online support. An orientation session will be held on the 3rd to begin full support.
These companies will receive assistance worth approximately 650,000 KRW, including detailed page production, online market entry, keyword advertising, and live commerce for excellent products.
Moon In, Mayor of Buk-gu, said, "With the fourth wave of COVID-19, securing online sales channels for small business owners is the most necessary at this time," adding, "We expect this project to help improve sales for small business owners who are struggling due to social distancing and other measures."
Meanwhile, Buk-gu plans to expand support for local small business owners' entry into the online market through additional recruitment within this month.
