Woori Financial Group Launches Recruitment for Startup Incubation Program 'Dino Lab 2.5th Cohort'
Discovering Startups in New Technology and ESG Sectors
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jin-ho] Woori Financial Group announced on the 2nd that it is recruiting companies for the 2.5th batch to participate in the startup collaboration program ‘DinoLab (Digital Innovation Lab)’.
The DinoLab 2.5th batch recruitment is being conducted to discover new growth engines in new technology fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and mobility, as well as ESG (environment, social, governance) fields including energy and eco-friendly technologies.
Applications can be submitted until the 23rd through the online research platform developed by Early Sloths Co., Ltd., a DinoLab 1st batch startup. Detailed information can also be found on the Woori Financial Group website.
The companies finally selected will receive business cooperation support from Woori Financial Group as well as the opportunity to move into the DinoLab 2nd Center. The DinoLab 2nd Center, scheduled to open in September this year in Sillim-dong, Gwanak-gu, Seoul, is a five-story building with approximately 270 pyeong (890 square meters) where DinoLab companies will have exclusive use of the entire building. It will include independent office spaces, a large seminar room, and a rooftop lounge.
A Woori Financial Group official stated, “We are looking for opportunities to collaborate with startups in various fields beyond fintech,” and added, “We will strengthen open innovation to accelerate digital transformation across the entire group.”

Meanwhile, a total of 71 startups have been discovered through DinoLab, with 18 actual contracts signed for business cooperation. Direct investments totaling 62 cases and 59.3 billion KRW have also been made.
