Earlier in June, at the board meeting, Kim Young-dal, chairman of IDIS Holdings, was appointed as the new CEO of IDIS Powertel. Chairman Kim majored in computer science at KAIST and founded IDIS in 1997, developing the world’s first digital video recorder (DVR) for CCTV.
