Coffee Bean Launches 3 Grain-Based Beverages
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Coffee Bean Korea announced on the 30th that it will launch three new beverages using domestically produced grains.
The three beverages are ▲ Ogura Latte ▲ Sweet Red Bean Ice Blended ▲ Injeolmi Ice Blended. They were planned with a newtro concept inspired by the "Halmaennial" (Halmae + Millennial) trend popular among the MZ generation. Additionally, they are made with domestic grains to add heartiness.
Ogura Latte is a shortened form of "a savory latte made with five grains," featuring five types of grains that give it a nutty and sweet flavor. It is a soy milk latte rich in dietary fiber.
The Sweet Red Bean Ice Blended is a premium beverage made by blending domestic sweet red beans and ice together, with added condensed milk sweetness, offering a refreshing sensation similar to eating bingsu (shaved ice dessert). Also, tapioca pearls are layered at the bottom of the drink, allowing you to enjoy the crunchiness of whole red beans and the chewy texture simultaneously.
The Injeolmi Ice Blended is recreated with a more savory and hearty taste using ten kinds of domestically roasted grains. Like the Sweet Red Bean Ice Blended, it also includes chewy tapioca pearls.
