Jeonju City School Operation Committee Chairpersons Association Signs Business Agreement with HS Group
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] The Jeonju City School Operation Committee Chairpersons Association (President Kim Taein) announced on the 29th that it has signed a business agreement with HS Group to develop the 'Hope Project Dream Encouragement Activity Support Project.'
The project targets students within Jeonju City, selecting a total of 21 schools: 10 elementary schools, 6 middle schools, and 5 high schools.
The 'Hope Project Dream Encouragement Activity Support,' which starts next month and concludes in December, will feature outstanding cases in the Jeonju City School Operation Committee Chairpersons Association newsletter once activities are completed.
Through students' self-directed awareness and exploratory activities, it aims to strengthen students' roles, foster problem-solving abilities and habits, and, by conducting explorations and activities suited to the characteristics of the local area, select and carry out projects appropriate to their hometown. This process is also expected to help form bonds among the children.
President Kim Taein and Secretary-General Park Sanghwa, along with the secretariat, have been making significant efforts as a key project of the Jeonbuk School Operation Committee Association for 2021-22.
Funding is secured through an MOU agreement between the Jeonju City School Operation Committee Chairpersons Association and HS Group.
Yoo Taeho, Chairman of HS Group, stated, “We promise more support to enhance students' self-directed learning abilities and will do our utmost to ensure continuous activities.”
President Kim Taein said, “This is the first pilot project independently conducted by the Jeonju City School Operation Committee Chairpersons Association to establish project-based learning led by the children themselves, expanding their enjoyment, confidence, and fun as they proceed, and especially to help improve their ability to construct knowledge through problem-solving processes.”
