[Concall] LG Electronics "After MC Business Withdrawal, Workforce Reallocation... One-Quarter Moves to Other Affiliates"
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] On the 29th, during the Q2 earnings conference call, LG Electronics stated regarding the workforce reallocation following the withdrawal from the mobile (MC) business, "We have conducted reallocation within affiliates and internally by considering job relevance to the maximum extent, and domestically, about one-quarter of the personnel moved to other affiliates besides LG Electronics." They added, "There was a significant need for additional personnel within group affiliates and the electronics division to prepare for the future and strengthen the growth business system. The reallocation was carried out by considering the MC work capabilities and the required competencies. We believe this will also contribute to expanding future growth within the group."
