Launch of the Joint Civil-Military Committee Website for Improving Military Culture
[Asia Economy Yang Nak-gyu, Military Specialist Reporter]The Ministry of National Defense announced on the 28th that the civilian-military joint committee, launched at the end of last month to improve soldiers' human rights and living conditions, has created a website to collect diverse opinions.
The website features a communication board where suggestions for improvement can be made regarding the protection of soldiers' human rights and organizational culture, prevention of sexual violence and protection of victims, soldiers' living conditions, and the military judicial system. The opinions proposed here may be reflected in recommendations submitted to the Ministry of National Defense after discussions by the joint committee.
