Jeju Fire Station Conducts 'Emergency Rescue Control Team Functional Proficiency Tabletop Exercise'
[Jeju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Jeongpil] Jeju Fire Station (Chief Ko Jae-woo) announced on the 28th that on the 27th, it conducted an "Emergency Rescue Control Team Function Proficiency Tabletop Exercise" assuming a disaster situation caused by wind and flood damage, with more than 20 fire officials attending in the small conference room.
This tabletop exercise was conducted assuming large-scale human and property damage to establish preparedness against wind and flood disasters.
The training content included checking the emergency contact system to establish a rapid response system for disasters, operating the emergency rescue control team, and establishing a command and on-site activity system at disaster scenes.
A Jeju Fire Station official said, "Through emergency rescue measures against wind and flood disasters, we will do our best to thoroughly prepare for wind and flood occurrences during the summer and minimize human and property damage to local residents."
