Saemaeul Geumgo Launches Pilot Operation of Paperless 'Digital Counter'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jin-ho] Saemaeul Geumgo announced on the 26th that it will start operating a paperless 'Digital Counter' from the 28th.
Initially, pilot operations will begin at two branches in the Seoul area (Sejong Saemaeul Geumgo, Gayang-dong Saemaeul Geumgo), and then expand to Incheon and Gyeonggi areas before being implemented at all branches.
The 'Digital Counter' is a service that allows members visiting Saemaeul Geumgo branches to fill out electronic application forms displayed on a touch monitor instead of paper forms and process their transactions.
The system is designed so that customers can easily understand document creation and input functions at a glance, while employees can focus on consultation and guidance by simplifying tasks. It is expected to improve customer convenience and reduce waiting times for visitors.
The Digital Counter will be introduced for 100 types of services, including ▲deposit and withdrawal transactions ▲new account opening ▲loan consultation and execution ▲electronic financial service applications ▲new and reissued check cards ▲insurance subscription planning and application.
