The Central Disease Control Headquarters (CDCH) announced that as of midnight, there were 1,629 new confirmed cases, bringing the total confirmed cases to 187,362. This is one less than the 1,630 new cases reported the previous day. Daily new confirmed cases have remained in the 1,000s for 18 consecutive days, starting from 1,212 cases on the 7th.
