The Luhens Life Filter is a household filter used by attaching it to faucets and taps in kitchens, bathrooms, and other areas. Luhens explained that sales surged this year due to the expansion of the lineup and the increased time spent at home caused by COVID-19.
In the first half of this year, Luhens Life Filter sales increased by approximately 579% compared to the previous year. In the second quarter, sales grew about 276% year-on-year due to increased water usage caused by early heat. Notably, the 30-40 age group accounted for about 82% of the total customers.
Since 2019, Luhens has continuously introduced faucet filter product lines developed directly by Wonbong's technology research institute. Starting with shower filter products such as the vitamin shower, they have released various products including kitchen, washbasin, and portable filters.
Among the Life Filter products, the 'Washbasin Purification Filter V2 (WCS-400)' attracts the most consumer interest. It is a dedicated filter for washbasin and bathtub faucets, applying a dual micro sediment filter to prevent re-release of rust. The dual filter enhances the capture of impurities larger than 3 μm (micrometers) and improves filter lifespan. It recently won the 'iF Design Award' and received praise for its design.
