Seoul Current District Council Member Caught for Illegal U-Turn Found to Have Drunk Driving Record
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-ju] A council member of a district in Seoul was caught by the police for drunk driving.
The Guro Police Station in Seoul announced on the 23rd that they have booked and are investigating Council Member A of the Guro District Council on charges including drunk driving.
According to the police, on the 21st at around 9 PM, Mr. A was caught by a patrolling officer while making an illegal U-turn at an intersection in Guro District, Seoul.
Suspecting drunk driving, the police conducted a breathalyzer test on Mr. A at the scene, which confirmed that his blood alcohol concentration was at the license cancellation level.
