DB Insurance Designated as Innovative Financial Service for 'TM Insurance Subscription Digital Mirroring Service'
Official Service Launch Scheduled for February Next Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] DB Insurance announced on the 23rd that its 'TM Insurance Subscription Digital Mirroring Service' has been designated as an innovative financial service under the Financial Regulatory Sandbox by the Financial Services Commission.
This service uses mirroring technology to connect digital electronic documents in real-time while the consumer and insurance agent are on a call. A key feature is that the insurance agent can respond immediately even when the consumer asks questions during the call.
Through the mirroring service, customers can visually check detailed product information on their mobile screens and listen to the insurance agent's explanations simultaneously. DB Insurance plans to officially launch the service in February next year.
Previously, when subscribing to insurance products over the phone, the insurance agent explained verbally, making it difficult for consumers to fully understand the product. Additionally, explaining important product details could take over 40 minutes depending on the product, causing inconvenience for consumers who had to listen for a long time.
