Guarantee Limit Expanded Up to 3 Billion Won

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Seoul Guarantee Insurance and the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute announced on the 22nd that they signed a "Promising Green Company Guarantee Support Business Agreement" at the Environmental Industry Technology Institute in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul.
Through this agreement, Seoul Guarantee Insurance will provide preferential guarantee support to promising green companies selected by the Ministry of Environment. Start-up companies will be able to use performance guarantee insurance and permit guarantee insurance products without separate collateral, with a limit of 500 million KRW per company for two years, and growth companies will receive a 10% discount on premiums for performance guarantee insurance, etc., and support for expanding guarantee limits up to 3 billion KRW depending on the company's credit rating.
In addition, start-up and growth companies will be able to use the "SME Credit Management Service" provided by external credit information companies, which offers credit information of trading partners, and an online education platform for enhancing employees' job competencies free of charge.
As a result of this agreement, promising green start-up and growth companies are expected to enjoy an expanded guarantee limit of approximately 962.5 billion KRW and insurance premium savings of about 530 million KRW.
