Combining Mobile Subscription with Phone Recruitment Method
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] NH Nonghyup Life Insurance announced on the 22nd that its 'TM Insurance Smart Customer Verification Service' has been designated as an innovative financial service under the Financial Regulatory Sandbox by the Financial Services Commission. After approximately eight months of development, the service is scheduled to officially launch in March next year.
The TM Insurance Smart Customer Verification Service allows customers to view product details on their mobile devices and directly subscribe to insurance while receiving telephone explanations from TM insurance product recruiters. After completing customer verification and product subscription recommendation steps, the recruiter sends a URL to the customer's smartphone. Customers can review the insurance contract documents sent via mobile and sign electronically, enabling them to subscribe to insurance anytime and anywhere.
Additionally, the service is equipped with a subscription assist function that allows customers to repeatedly check and listen to product details. If there are any questions or parts requiring additional explanation, it connects customers to recruiters in real time and allows consultation appointments at preferred times.
Until now, TM insurance was subject to regulations requiring all processes to be recorded during subscription, making long calls of over 60 minutes essential for both customers and recruiters. NH Nonghyup Life Insurance expects that the designation as an innovative financial service and the resulting regulatory exemptions will alleviate the inconvenience of lengthy calls.
