Selvas AI Expands Voice Recognition Report Writing System... 257 Sites to Adopt Next Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] AI specialist company Selvas AI announced on the 21st that it is strengthening its public sector capabilities by expanding the application of its AI-based voice recognition statement drafting system to police stations.
Selected as the primary project operator by the National Police Agency last year, Selvas AI commercialized the "voice recognition-based sexual violence victim statement drafting system" in 77 investigation rooms across 59 police stations in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and other areas.
Through this second phase project, the system will be expanded to over 90 police stations nationwide, and next year it is expected to increase to 257 police stations across the country. Based on the accumulated database (DB), various applied projects such as question appropriateness assessment tools and integration with the Criminal Justice Information Portal (KICS) will be pursued.
The AI voice recognition statement drafting solution applied to the sexual violence victim investigation support system automatically converts the contents of the statement into text for recording and storage, and organizes it into a database. It recognizes the victim's spoken testimony, separates the speakers between the investigator and the victim, and can document it in real time.
Additionally, equipped with an "AI Investigation Guide," the system supports the investigation process by displaying related manuals, precedents, and other materials on the screen according to the victim's testimony. It is expected to be distributable not only to police stations but also to various public institutions requiring investigation and inquiry tasks.
