Korea Forest Service Conducts Survey on the Current Status of Tree Hospital 'Arboricultural Treatment Industry'
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] The Korea Forest Service announced on the 20th that it will conduct a survey on the current status of the tree care industry targeting over 1,300 tree hospitals nationwide from this month until early October.
The survey aims to understand the operation status of tree hospitals and the scale of the tree care industry to ensure the successful establishment of the tree care system in the field.
The survey will be conducted by Hyundai Research Consulting Co., Ltd., which will select and train investigators in advance, then visit tree hospitals directly (face-to-face) or conduct the survey remotely (via email, mobile, or phone) reflecting the COVID-19 situation.

Jung Jong-geun, Director of the Forest Pest Control Division at the Korea Forest Service, said, “We ask individual tree hospitals to participate sincerely in the survey to produce reliable results,” and added, “The Korea Forest Service will continue to conduct regular surveys and analyze the results to establish the direction of tree care policies.”
