Video Conferencing Company 'Zoom' Acquires Cloud-Based Call Center for 17 Trillion Won
Video conferencing platform company Zoom is acquiring cloud-based call center operator 'Five9' through a stock exchange deal worth $14.7 billion (approximately 16.8564 trillion KRW), according to major foreign media reports on the 18th (local time).
In a statement, Zoom said, "This acquisition will help expand Zoom's influence over enterprise customers," adding, "By adding the $24 billion call center market to our business, we will accelerate long-term growth opportunities."
Five9 is a call center operator with clients such as Under Armour, Lululemon, Citrix, and Athenahealth.
