NC, 'Blade & Soul 2' Confirmed for August Release
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] NCSoft announced on the 19th that it will launch the multiplatform MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) "Blade & Soul 2 (B&S2)" next month.
NCSoft has begun full-scale marketing activities ahead of the launch. On this day, the B&S2 brand page was revamped to reveal three keywords related to the launch: "UNVEILING," "COUNTDOWN," and "FINALE." The plan is to sequentially release content related to each keyword until the launch.
Users can watch two visual clips released on this day. They vividly showcase the appearances, martial arts skills, and weapons of male and female characters.
NCSoft also unveiled a total of five types of in-game costumes. Characters from the three races appearing in B&S2 (Jin, Gon, Lin) can be seen wearing each costume in 360-degree videos.
Additionally, through the official B&S2 YouTube channel, a reality variety show titled "Munpa is a First" was released. It features Super Junior's Shindong, who was a user of the original "Blade & Soul," becoming the leader of a Munpa (clan) in B&S2 and growing the clan, capturing the process in a variety show format.
