View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Public officials belonging to Jangheung-gun, Jeonnam, donated 12.39 million won in disaster relief funds to flood victims in the area who suffered great damage due to heavy rain.
This disaster relief fund was collected bit by bit through the voluntary participation of employees below grade 6, following the donation of 21.8 million won by 37 senior officials.
The collected disaster relief funds are planned to be used promptly for residents in flood-affected areas through the Jangheung Comprehensive Social Welfare Center.
A county official stated, “We will continue to strive to be public officials who serve the local community and spread positive influence.”
