Amorepacific Mamonde Launches New 'Rose Water Toner'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Amorepacific's cosmetics brand Mamonde has relaunched its 'Rose Water Toner.'
The Rose Water Toner, launched in October 2013, is a popular Mamonde product with cumulative domestic and international sales exceeding 5.2 million units by 2020. The renewed Rose Water Toner, which sells one unit every minute worldwide, embraces clean beauty in both its ingredients and packaging.
Instead of artificial rose fragrance that may cause allergies, it contains 90.97% extract of 'Damask Rose' grown in Bulgaria's Rose Valley, extracted using the low-temperature high-pressure extraction method (SHP). The active ingredients of Damask Rose provide skin-soothing effects, and the toner includes hyaluronic acid and allantoin to enhance skin moisturizing effects.

There is also an effort toward eco-friendly products. The packaging is made from 'Bio PET,' containing 30% sugarcane-derived extract, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 20% throughout the product's manufacturing, distribution, and disposal processes. Additionally, it is a vegan formula product that does not use any animal-derived raw materials.
