KT Applies 'Customer Wrapping Design Contest' Winning Works to Commercial Electric Vehicles
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] KT announced the winning entries of the "Car Wrapping Design" contest visualizing its identity as a "DIGICO (Digital Platform Company)" on the 18th. KT plans to first apply the winning designs to about 1,000 electric vehicles currently in operation for business use.
KT selected a total of 16 award-winning works, and winners will receive prize money, KT AI hotel accommodation vouchers, and dining vouchers for restaurants equipped with KT AI serving robots. Participants will also be given car models made with their wrapping designs to help them remember their participation in the contest for a long time. Choi Hyewon, who received the highest score, said, "I drew the DIGICO design with the concept of connectivity and scalability of AI, big data, and cloud."
This contest was a new communication method attempted to promote "DIGICO KT," and anyone interested in design could participate. The contest theme was "The image of DIGICO KT leading changes and innovation in customers' lives."
Professor Lee Geun from the Department of Industrial Design at Hongik University, who participated in the judging, said, "The core was how to express KT's philosophy as a digital platform company based on AI, big data, and cloud capabilities through design," and explained, "The highest score was given to the work that best embodied the value as a digital platform company through car wrapping design."
