Minister Hwang Hee Inspects Quarantine Measures at Seoul Arts Center
"Both Venues and Audiences Must Strictly Follow Quarantine Guidelines"
Hwang Hee, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, visited the Seoul Arts Center in Seocho-gu, Seoul on the 18th to inspect the COVID-19 quarantine measures. He carefully checked compliance with the performance venue's quarantine rules, such as temperature checks upon entry, registration of visitors, hand sanitization, and seating with one seat apart from companions. According to the Level 4 social distancing measures in the metropolitan area, performance venues are restricted from operating from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next day. Maintaining one seat apart from companions is also required. Minister Hwang identified difficulties faced by the Seoul Arts Center staff and urged, "Both performance venues and audiences must strictly follow quarantine rules to ensure the COVID-19 situation stabilizes quickly."
