[Asia Economy Reporter La Youngcheol] The daily number of new COVID-19 cases in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi Province, which had been in the 30s, has decreased to the teens.
The Goyang City health authorities announced on the day that "2 people were confirmed positive on the evening of the 15th, and as of 4 p.m. on the 16th, a total of 19 people, including 17, were diagnosed with COVID-19."
The causes of infection were contact with confirmed cases from other regions (6 people), family transmission (4 people), contact with acquaintances (4 people), and 5 others are under epidemiological investigation.
By residence, there were 8 in Deogyang-gu, 5 in Ilsandong-gu, 5 in Ilsanseo-gu, and 1 from other regions.
