Busan City announced on the 16th that it has issued a 24-hour business suspension order for entertainment bars where consecutive infections have recently occurred.
Busan City will maintain social distancing level 2 until the 25th, but starting from the 19th, a gathering ban order has been enforced on certain high-risk facility types.
The targeted facilities include five types of entertainment venues: yuhengjupum (entertainment bars), danranjupum (karaoke bars), clubs (nightclubs), gamseongjupum (emotional bars), and hunting pocha (hunting pubs), as well as colatec (dance halls), mudojang (dance venues), holdem pubs and holdem game rooms, and singing practice rooms (including coin-operated singing practice rooms).
These facilities were previously allowed to operate until 10 PM, but from the 19th, all operations will be completely suspended. Violations or detection during special inspections will result in suspension of operations.
Restaurants, cafes, convenience stores, and pojangmacha (street food stalls) will continue to be allowed only takeout and delivery from 10 PM to 5 AM the next day, as before.
