Convenience Store Industry Association Signs Win-Win Agreement with Seoul City and Shinhan Bank to Overcome COVID-19 Crisis
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] The Korea Convenience Store Industry Association announced on the 16th that it will sign a win-win agreement for "Overcoming the COVID-19 Crisis" with Seoul City and Shinhan Bank. The signing ceremony will be attended by Choi Kyung-ho, chairman of the Convenience Store Industry Association, Oh Se-hoon, mayor of Seoul, and Jin Ok-dong, president of Shinhan Bank.
This business agreement centers on Seoul City and Shinhan Bank providing 70,000 COVID-19 self-test kits free of charge to about 8,000 convenience stores operated by association members located in Seoul.
The Korea Convenience Store Industry Association has agreed to actively cooperate in securing the health rights of convenience store workers through self-test kits, conducting convenience store disinfection, and promoting Seoul City's community infection prevention and win-win quarantine efforts. Shinhan Bank will be responsible for the smooth procurement, delivery, and operation of the self-test kits.
