Representative and Employee Found Dead in Stabbing Incident at Incheon Car Dealership
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] The CEO and an employee of a car dealership in Incheon were found dead from stab wounds, prompting the police to launch an investigation.
According to the Gyeyang Police Station in Incheon on the 15th, at around 8:10 a.m., CEO A (59) and employee B (58) were found dead in the office of a car dealership located in Gyeyang-gu.
Another employee of the same dealership reported to the police, "After hearing sounds of a fight in the office and then silence, I went to check and found the two dead."
The 119 emergency responders who arrived at the scene confirmed that A and B were already deceased, lying under desks inside the office. Both had stab wounds, and a weapon believed to have been used in the crime was found at the scene.
The police suspect that the two died following a dispute between them and are conducting an investigation including on-site forensic examination and reviewing nearby CCTV footage. They have also requested an autopsy of the bodies from the National Forensic Service.
About ten people work at the dealership, but recently most have not been coming to the office to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
