Changwon City Secures 930 Million KRW in National Funding for Greenbelt Living Park Development Project
Creation of Forest Sky Path at Huindolme Park and Maintenance of Walking Trail at Jangcheon Sports Park, Two Locations
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] The Green City Project Office of Changwon City, Gyeongnam, announced on the 15th that two projects were selected in the 2022 Development Restriction Zone Living Park Contest, securing 930 million KRW in national funding.
The main selected projects are the "Hindolme Park Forest Sky Path Construction" and the "Jangcheon Sports Park Walking Trail Maintenance Project."
The city plans to start the projects next year after conducting detailed design services, aiming to create environmentally friendly living parks.
The "Hindolme Park Forest Sky Path Construction" project involves investing a total of 1 billion KRW to create an experiential park facility in the Hindolme Park area of Nammun-dong, Jinhae-gu, Changwon City.

The "Jangcheon Sports Park Walking Trail Maintenance Project" will invest a total of 300 million KRW to provide sports facility usage within Jangcheon Sports Park located in Jangcheon-dong, Jinhae-gu, Changwon City, and is expected to contribute to the health improvement of citizens.
