Park Byeong-seok, Speaker of the National Assembly, stated, “Recently, the number of new confirmed cases has exceeded 1,000, mainly in the metropolitan area, presenting a serious situation regarding COVID-19,” and added, “To effectively control COVID-19 and quickly overcome the current crisis, I request the expansion of remote work and comprehensive COVID-19 testing for National Assembly staff and on-site personnel in accordance with the recommendations of health authorities.”
