[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 14th that it will distribute 'certification badges' to residents who have completed the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccination to confirm completion of vaccination.
According to the county, residents who have completed the second dose of vaccination can visit their local eup/myeon community service centers starting from the 19th to receive the vaccine certification badge.
The county decided to distribute the badges to encourage residents who are hesitant to get vaccinated.
Although it cannot be used as official proof, it is intended to serve as an 'indirect proof' mark that the person has been vaccinated against COVID-19, providing psychological reassurance to others.
