Gimhae City Hosts Creative Lecture by Artist Kwak Yujin on 'Prize-Guaranteed Lottery Machine'
Gimhae City, Gyeongnam, invites author Kwak Yujin, who published 'A Gacha Machine with No Losers,' to conduct a special creative lecture.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gimhae City, Gyeongnam Province announced on the 14th that it will operate 'Writer Kwak Yoo-jin's Creative Notes ? With a Child's Curiosity and an Adult's Passion' for citizens interested in creation and publishing.
The special lecture on August 11 will focus on Kwak Yoo-jin's work 'The Gacha Machine Without Losing,' discussing the motivation behind the work and the creative process. Then, on August 18, it will cover the process of publishing one's own work, life as a writer, and the current state of the publishing industry.
Due to the recent resurgence of COVID-19, the lectures will be conducted online via ZOOM.
Applications for participation can be made from 10 a.m. on the 21st until 6 p.m. on August 6 through the Gimhae City Public Reservation Portal or by phone at the City Hall Talent Development Support Division.

The instructor for this special lecture, writer Kwak Yoo-jin, debuted in 2017 with the SF short story 'Children of Mothers,' and has published the children's fairy tale 'The Gacha Machine Without Losing.' She is an emerging writer who has received the 2017 SF Award Excellence Prize in the short story category and the 2019 Biryongso Literary Award Grand Prize.
