Busan Police Agency announced on the 14th that they have arrested Busan Transportation Corporation employee A on charges of sexual assault (quasi-rape).
According to the police, A is accused of following an intoxicated woman to her home and sexually assaulting her on the afternoon of the 19th of last month inside a station of the Busan Metro.
A's arrest warrant was issued on the 7th.
A, an employee managing the metro, was known to be working at a different station than where the crime occurred. It was also reported that the incident happened outside of his working hours.
A is said to claim that the sexual encounter was consensual with the victim.
