Naver Launches Fulfillment Data Platform 'NFA' 원본보기 아이콘

[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Naver announced on the 13th that it has launched an online fulfillment data platform called ‘NFA (Naver Fulfillment Alliance)’ to reduce the logistics burden on Smart Store sellers.

Through this platform, Naver plans to comprehensively provide functions such as logistics data analysis and logistics demand forecasting for each business operator. In addition to the fulfillment sector, Naver will actively collaborate with companies in various logistics fields including courier services, premium delivery, and urban nearby logistics warehouses, and support their growth alongside 450,000 Smart Stores based on technology.

Currently, seven fulfillment companies with specialized capabilities in various fields ranging from non-branded to frozen and refrigerated products (CJ Logistics, OurBox, Wekeep, Fasto, Poomgo, Delivered, Selfy) are participating together, with plans to expand further in the future.

These companies have been continuously cooperating with Naver through Smart Store API integration and have been conducting various experiments to strengthen the logistics competitiveness of SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises). By using NFA, it is possible to relatively reduce costs such as sales and marketing and secure large-scale stable logistics volume.

When sellers use fulfillment services, they can reduce resources related to overall logistics including packaging, delivery, inventory management, defective product inspection, return processing, and customer service. However, many Naver Smart Store sellers have not been able to utilize fulfillment due to reasons such as lack of information, low sales unit price, and small volume.

With NFA, SMEs can directly find fulfillment companies suitable for their stores and inquire about services, providing an opportunity to proactively design their own logistics methods.

Naver will also advance services such as AI-based demand forecasting and logistics data advisors to enable business insights through logistics data. Within this year, a ‘TokTok’ feature will be added to allow direct communication between SMEs and logistics companies, and indicators such as shipment rate, delivery rate, and seller reviews will be provided to help select fulfillment companies.
