Bank of Korea CBDC Research Project Bidding... SK, Line Plus, Ground X Apply (Update)
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunbyeol Kim] The Bank of Korea announced on the 12th that a total of three companies, including Ground X, Line Plus, and SK Corporation, have submitted applications after the deadline for bidding participation for the 'Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) Pilot Experiment Research' service project.
The Bank of Korea stated, "Regarding the bidding documents submitted by participating companies, we will select the project operator through a technical evaluation in July, followed by technical negotiations with qualified negotiators."
