Gyeongnam Province Conducts Joint Safety Inspection of Gas Facilities for Natural Disaster Preparedness
Formation of Joint Inspection Team by Province, City/County, Korea Gas Safety Corporation, and City Gas Companies
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Gyeongsangnam-do announced on the 12th that it will conduct safety inspections to prevent gas facility accidents caused by natural disasters during the summer season.
The province plans to conduct sample safety inspections in cooperation with the Korea Gas Safety Corporation on LPG small storage tanks, city gas pressure regulator facilities, exposed piping on bridges, and safety management at city gas pipeline construction sites.
Additionally, city and county governments will form joint inspection teams with the Korea Gas Corporation to inspect high-pressure gas manufacturing facilities, charging facilities, and sales facilities.
