Yeosu City to Open 9 Beaches Starting from the 10th
Official Opening for 44 Days Until the 22nd of Next Month
[Yeosu=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Sim Kyung-taek] Yeosu City in Jeollanam-do will officially open nine beaches in the area starting from the 10th.
The beaches opening are Manseong-ri, Mosageum, Bangjukpo, Musulmok, Ungcheon, Jangdeung, Geomundo, Ando, and Nangdo, which is opening for the first time this year.
Ungcheon, located in the downtown area and expected to be crowded, will operate on a reservation system.
Reservations can be made by searching for ‘Ungcheon Beach’ on the internet portal site ‘Naver’ and booking through the provided link.
Along with Ungcheon, where the reservation system is implemented, all beaches require visitors to have their temperature checked and wear a wristband if their body temperature is normal before entering.
The city will deploy 39 beach safety personnel across the nine beaches to ensure citizens can enjoy the beaches safely.
A city official said, “Due to the prolonged COVID-19 situation, many vacationers are expected to visit the beaches. We will do our best to ensure thorough quarantine management so that people can enjoy their vacations with peace of mind.”
