Intellectual Data Participates in Korean-Style Evidence Collection System Conference
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Legal tech company Intellectual Data (CEO Jo Yong-min) announced on the 9th that it will participate in a regular conference jointly hosted by the Korea Intellectual Property Journalists Association (President Kim Yong-chul) and KAIST to discuss strategies for preparing a Korean-style evidence collection system.
The event, titled "How Should We Prepare for Korean-style Discovery?" is scheduled to be held as a webinar for pre-registered participants on the 14th. The conference will be led by Professor Park Sung-pil of the KAIST Graduate School of Intellectual Property, who will introduce the current status of the introduction of Korean-style discovery and preparation strategies through a keynote presentation and panel discussion.
Jo Eun-ji, Team Leader of the Consulting Division at Intellectual Data, said, "As the implementation of the discovery system is expanding to protect domestic intellectual property rights, companies need to build strategies on how to respond to Korean-style discovery as well as systems in various countries." She added, "Since multiple stakeholders have prepared together to establish an effective Korean-style discovery system, we hope this conference will help resolve the concerns and questions of corporate practitioners."
