Toss Bank Grants Stock Options to Employees Celebrating Their 1st Work Anniversary
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Toss Bank announced on the 9th that it has granted stock options to employees who have reached their first anniversary at the company.
On this day, Toss Bank held a shareholders' meeting and decided to grant 680,000 stock options to 30 employees. CEO Hong Min-taek and CTO Park Jun-ha were each granted 60,000 shares, while the other employees were evenly granted 20,000 shares each.
The exercise price of these stock options is 5,000 KRW per share (par value). Eligible employees can exercise these options starting from July 9, 2023, two years after the grant date.
So far, Toss Bank has announced plans to introduce a stock compensation system for employees who contributed to the establishment of the bank. The purpose is to secure talented professionals and to share the fruits of business growth with shareholders and employees alike.

A Toss Bank official stated, “This stock option grant was executed according to the originally established compensation plan for employees who have passed their first year at the company,” adding, “We plan to continuously prepare and implement such compensation plans going forward.”
