The eco-friendly kits, prepared with funds raised from the Clean Dish campaign, consist of a G-Pot flowerpot set with three types of plants to grow: carrot, kidney bean, and lettuce. It carries the meaning of practicing love for the environment by experiencing the process of planting seeds and growing plants.
Clean Dish is a social contribution campaign designed to encourage participation in sharing by certifying participation through a leftover food scanner after meals at Homeplus and the National Assembly cafeteria. Homeplus conducted the Clean Dish campaign last month in collaboration with the National Assembly Secretariat in celebration of Environment Month.
An average of 1,076 people participated daily in this campaign, with a cumulative total of 21,524 participants, raising 10.76 million KRW in funds. The funds, raised by accumulating 500 KRW per person each time food is finished cleanly without leftovers at Homeplus and the National Assembly cafeteria, are used for children's environmental education conducted by the Homeplus e-Paran Foundation, including the development of untact eco-friendly education programs and the production of eco-friendly kits.
