Sejong City announced on the 6th that it recently approved the new establishment plan for the complex general industrial complex through the Industrial Complex Planning Review Committee.
The complex general industrial complex involves real demand participants such as Sejong Complex Industrial Complex Co., Ltd., Winposys Co., Ltd., Shinhwa Steel Co., Ltd., Cheongjeong Tech Co., Ltd., and Hyunjin Die Casting Co., Ltd., with Hyundai Development Company in charge of construction.
After establishment, the plan is to attract industries such as electrical equipment, metal processing, and machinery manufacturing to secure industrial competitiveness.
In particular, the city expects smooth progress in the industrial complex development, as the intended occupancy area of 36 companies that have expressed interest in moving into the complex general industrial complex exceeds the total planned area of industrial facility land.
The complex general industrial complex is adjacent to National Road No. 1 and is also close to the Seoul-Sejong Expressway IC currently under construction.
Additionally, it is expected to serve as one axis of the industrial complex cluster, connecting with major northern industrial complexes such as Jeonui, Cheomdan, Mirae, Venture Valley, Jeondong, and Smart Green industrial complexes.
