December Opening Scheduled 'Jungnang-gu Media Center' Naming Contest
Media Center Naming Contest in Jungnang-gu Scheduled to Open in December This Year Until July 9... Accepting Creative Names Reflecting Media Center's Characteristics... Results Announced on July 20
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) is accepting name submissions for the upcoming Jungnang-gu Media Center until July 9.
The Jungnang-gu Media Center, established to promote media welfare through supporting media education and creative activities for Jungnang-gu residents, is scheduled to open this December near Yongmasan Station.
Equipped with various facilities such as a multipurpose studio, digital education room, visible radio room, and club rooms, the center plans to operate ▲media education and experience programs for residents ▲rental of media production equipment and provision of spaces ▲support for media cultural activities and production of promotional content for district administration, generating high interest and expectations among residents.
Reflecting this interest, the district is holding this naming contest to allow residents to directly name the center, and is also conducting a comment event on the official Jungnang-gu Office YouTube channel to support the establishment of the media center.
The naming contest invites creative names in Korean, around 10 characters, that are easy to pronounce and remember, reflecting the characteristics of the Jungnang-gu Media Center.
Anyone can participate through the resident participation → internet submission section on the Jungnang-gu Office website. One name submission per person is allowed, and if the same name is submitted multiple times, only the earliest submission will be judged.
The results will be announced on July 20. The winner (1 person) will receive a mobile gift certificate worth 300,000 KRW, and two runners-up will each receive mobile gift certificates worth 100,000 KRW.
The comment event can be participated in via the Jungnang-gu Office YouTube channel. Subscribe to the channel, watch the media center naming contest video, and leave a supportive message in the comments.
Thirty participants will be selected by lottery to receive a small mobile gift certificate.
