Flood and windstorm insurance is a policy insurance that compensates for property damage caused by natural disasters such as typhoons, heavy rain, heavy snow, and earthquakes. Part of the insurance premium is supported by the government and local governments, allowing subscription at an affordable premium.
80% of the insurance premium is supported, and the compensation amount is up to 100 million won for stores, 150 million won for factories, and actual loss compensation is possible within 50 million won for inventory assets.
Subscription to flood and windstorm insurance is possible through each insurance company's website, and for more details, inquiries can be made through the National Disaster Safety Portal or the Gun Office's Grassroots Economy Division.
