585 COVID-19 Cases Confirmed by 6 PM... Around 700 Expected Tomorrow
[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] As of 6 PM on the 3rd, the total number of new confirmed COVID-19 cases is 585.
This is 83 fewer than the 668 cases reported at the same time the previous day.
The number of tests conducted over the weekend significantly decreased, which appears to have led to a slight reduction in the interim confirmed cases.
By region, 488 cases (83.4%) are from the Seoul metropolitan area, and 97 cases (16.6%) are from non-metropolitan areas.
By city and province, the numbers are as follows: Seoul 257, Gyeonggi 201, Incheon 30, Busan 27, Gangwon 18, Gyeongnam 13, Ulsan 10, Gyeongbuk 9, Chungnam 7, Daejeon 5, Daegu 3, Jeju 2, and Gwangju, Jeonbuk, Chungbuk with 1 case each.
Among the 17 cities and provinces nationwide, Sejong and Jeonnam have not reported any confirmed cases yet.
