Gyeonggi Office of Education, Integrity Video Letter Relay Campaign
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi Education Integrity Society Public-Private Council is launching the 'Integrity Video Letter Relay Campaign.'
The Gyeonggi Education Integrity Society Public-Private Council is a specialized public-private council for integrity practice in the education sector, formed for the first time nationwide in October last year with the participation of 14 organizations (groups) including education-related institutions, teacher organizations, civic groups, parent organizations, and media outlets within the province to improve the integrity of Gyeonggi education and spread a culture of integrity.
This campaign involves participating organizations (groups) of the Gyeonggi Education Integrity Society Public-Private Council producing two video letters each month in a relay format, containing messages of encouragement and commitment to integrity for Gyeonggi education officials and affiliated staff exhausted by COVID-19, and sharing them through each institution’s homepage and SNS until December this year.
Kim Jang-ryeol, co-chair of the Gyeonggi Education Integrity Society Public-Private Council (Standing Representative of Heungsadan Transparent Society Movement Headquarters), emphasized, "Even in difficult situations such as COVID-19, the anti-corruption integrity movement must be faithfully carried out, just as Dosan Ahn Chang-ho said, 'Lies, you are the enemy that ruins the country,' and 'Even if you die, do not lie.' We must continue to strive to eliminate unfair practices and make our society transparent."
Park Sang-yeol, Anti-Corruption Integrity Officer at Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education, said, "The Integrity Video Letter Relay Campaign will be an opportunity for each organization (group) to exchange opinions and share thoughts on integrity," adding, "We hope that in the post-COVID era, Gyeonggi education will continue to work with the local community and further spread the culture of integrity."
The integrity video letters will be uploaded twice a month on the YouTube channel 'Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education Integrity Cast.'
